Blocked Gutters

It‘s one of those jobs you always seem to put off or forget to get around to, but it can cause some quiet serious problems.

Above is an extreme example. It doesn’t have to be this bad to begin to cause a lot of damage, starting with damp in the walls going down to the floor and footings. It can cause mildew and mould which, in turn, can make carpets and furniture smell and it also can have significant health implications. Mildew is a form of fungus. It is distinguished from it’s closely related counterpart, mould, largely by it’s colour: moulds appears in shades of black, blue, red, and green, whereas mildew is white. It also can cause fires by shorting out the electrical circuits.

By hoovering out the gutter once or twice a year, this makes doing that job cost effective by avoiding the problems that damp could cause. We have the equipment to work safely from the ground. This includes having a special camera fitted so we can make certain all leaves, moss and plants are out of your gutter, giving free access for water to escape. Saving you time, inconvenience and any untoward slips, trips or falls.
